Information about how we collect, use, and protect the personal information of California residents.

Introduction

This California Notice at Collection ("Notice") supplements the Archeway Privacy Policy and applies solely to California residents ("consumers" or "you"). We adopt this Notice to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, "CCPA"). Any terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used in this Notice.

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those specified above, which are necessary to provide the services you have requested.

Your Rights Under the CCPA

The CCPA provides California residents with specific rights regarding their personal information. This section describes your CCPA rights and explains how to exercise those rights.

Right to Know

You have the right to request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection, use, disclosure, and sale of your personal information over the past 12 months. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request, we will disclose to you:

  • The categories of personal information we've collected about you
  • The categories of sources from which your personal information was collected
  • Our business or commercial purpose for collecting your personal information
  • The categories of third parties with whom we share your personal information
  • The specific pieces of personal information we've collected about you

Right to Delete

You have the right to request that we delete any of your personal information that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request, we will delete your personal information from our records unless an exception applies.

Right to Correct

You have the right to request correction of factually inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you. Upon receiving a verifiable request, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to correct the inaccurate information as directed, subject to verification and certain limitations permitted by law. We may request supporting documentation to verify the correct information.

You have the right to limit our use and disclosure of your sensitive personal information to that which is necessary to perform the services or provide the goods reasonably expected by an average consumer.

Only you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Archeway does not sell or share personal information of any consumers, including California residents. We do not sell or share the personal information of minors under 16 years of age.

Future Processing Activities Notice

Currently, Archeway does not sell or share your personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA, nor do we use it for machine learning purposes beyond providing our core services.

However, we may engage in such activities in the future. In accordance with California law, before any such material changes in our data practices, we will:

  • Provide California residents with explicit prior notice
  • Update this Notice and our Privacy Policy with details about the new processing activities
  • Explain how to exercise your right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information
  • Provide a clear opportunity to limit the use of sensitive personal information
  • Honor all existing privacy choices you have made

California residents will always have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information and to limit the use of their sensitive personal information under the CCPA/CPRA before any such new processing begins.

Changes to This Notice

We reserve the right to amend this Notice at our discretion and at any time. When we make changes to this Notice, we will post the updated Notice on our website and update the effective date.
